Re: HP PC question (boot device issue)

I should have given you a bit more information on the Windows 10 install with a purchased licence key from Ebay. Go to the following link to download your choice of install direct from Microsoft. I went the USB method and changed my BIOS to boot direct from USB media to install with the new SATA dri...

Re: HP PC question (boot device issue)

It's likely your drive may be fine but the boot partition is corrupt. May be no way back from it either. This very thing happened during the past year on my desktop. I kept running desperately low on drive space on drive 'c' till things went south. Ultimately I bought a new Intel 500G SSD Sata drive...

Re: Anyone have a Raspberry Pi powered cabinet/bartop ?

I'll be taking the plunge soon with a RGB-PI (PI GPIO to Jamma adapter). I already have the 3b+ and the RGB-PI just arrived in the mail from Spain. After that, things are up in the air as far as a CRT is concerned. I had my heart set on a 13", but they seem to be a rare thing to get a hold of w...

I've sold many cabs, many projects, many boards/parts that were awesome, but I've been cool with it all.
Even the cockpit Pooyan.

A hacked Sony PSTV would be a better option over the Classic. But hey, who knows what the future will hold.

Re: Anyone here have experience with appliance repair ? (oven issue)

I'd start with checking your breakers (2) that feed your oven. You can trip one side and still have an appliance that appears to function.

Re: Anyone collect arcade tokens?

BYOAC used to have a yearly token design contest. In 2007, the year I finished my MAME cabinet, my side art and marquee were designed by one of the contestants (Pixelhugger) and may have inspired the token design winner (mr.Curmudgeon) . The final token was amazing minted in brass and nickel. Perhap...

Re: Ideas on how to hang a traffic light

From the ceiling, you'll likely need a steel octagon box securely screwed to a joist above. Then find a way to attach a chandelier fixture chain to your signal light. It's a bit of a job, but should look great. Another option, find a clean steel rim and add a post to the center and turn it into a co...

News from the Middle East. Might actually be a good game when an authoritarian country bans it. :)
