UPDATE: In the end, this ended up being a bad ground wire....took a bit to back figure what was going on as the wire was still connected but most of the strands in the wire had been cut and it must have been just enough for the signal to the encoder to be intermittent. John I have a Tokn kb10 encode...

I tried one as well in Kitchener and only got two stations...not worth the time
this far from Toronto unless you go big and go high.
Neither of the channels were sports related.
