Re: Street fighter 2 Machine Champion Edition

What style of cabinet do you want? If you want an original big blue cab, you're gonna be over 1000 pretty quickly for one in good shape.

if you want a more generic HS5 style cabinet, you might find one under 1000

Re: Anyone ever take apart a cabinet to move it?

Those cabinets were all glued, nailed, and stapled together good luck getting it apart and then back together again without destroying something. Not to mention you're going to have to reverse the process again if you ever do move. Your best bet is to either store it till you eventually move or find...

Re: Wow, a NIB Road Show

There's a Road Show on kijiji in London right now. That article has to be old since Road Show was made in 1994 and they referred to it as a nearly 20 year old pinball machine. The metadata in the photos shows they were taken originally back in 2012. So yeah, old article, but dang, to find a NIB pin...

Re: Where do you guys get your games these days?

Flea market guys are all re-sellers, they know what their stuff is worth or a perceived value of it anyways. Might have some haggle room but you're still not finding anything crazy unless you catch them slipping. Best deals are the moms and dads clearing out their old collections who have no idea wh...

Re: Where do you guys get your games these days?

Garage sales are the last real chance at finding "deals" out in the wild. Anyone at a flea market, antique store, or Kijiji has probably done some research (eBay) and marked their games accordingly (exorbitantly). Garage sales are usually just priced to sell with no attention paid to anyth...

Re: Some Arcade Newcomer Questions

I believe the Neo Geo JAMMA edge is slightly different as it supports stereo sound. True JAMMA standard is mono only. Keep that in mind when you are looking at your pin-outs and edges. Would love to see some pics of your cabinet! A single slot MVS board will work on a regular JAMMA cabinet, pluggin...

Re: Possible score? Amazing Tater at Value Village

the values on eBay are obviously higher due to the exposure and that you deal with fees. On a facebook group or local swap meet, I wouldn't expect that game to fetch more than 300 or 350. Hardcore collectors almost never pay eBay retail values for a game. Now, this is USD we are talking about though...

Re: Possible score? Amazing Tater at Value Village

Amazing Tater is VERY rare on the original Gameboy.

It is the probably the most expensive Gameboy game actually if I recall my GB prices properly.

If you found that at Value Village, that is one hell of a score man.

Congrats.
