Re: Never get rid of your first cab

Doesn't look too bad at all. You could apply Elmer's ProBOND food filler (the stuff with glue in it) and sand it down, or you could use bondo (messier to clean up). Put screws in the missing chuck as rebar. Thanks guys! The chunk is my biggest concern and I agree it needs to be screwed in for prope...

Re: The Last Starfighter game for PC

I was looking this game up tonight to see if in fact it was an arcade back in the early 80s. Apparently there was rumours it was which are not true. I would have loved to see one of these in production. It shows the difference from the early 80s to today. Today a movie like this would have had the g...

Re: Never get rid of your first cab

The left side (near back) is worse than the right side. I'm not bad a refinishing furniture and painting. Just not sure what typically works best on these arcade bottoms that can get moved around and take the weight. Right side http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/u489/TrueJedi1/Arcade/IMG_3702_zpsj8...

Re: Never get rid of your first cab

I picked up my first cab a few months back. It's a Double D, but as I'm learning my machine have just found out it's been modified from a 1983 Williams Joust cabinet into this DD with jamma. Still has the 1981 Electrohome CRT by the looks of it. Inside the cab I can see it stamped with "Manufac...

Haha - I bet we'll see the SNES classic announced early fall 2017, with a stock shortage just in time for Christmas ;-)

That sounds like a consistent business plan by Nintendo.

Re: NES Classic (new mini NES)

A buddy's g/f is a supervisor at a local Walmart. On Nov 11th they had 12 units and the line outside waiting for the store to open was greater than their quantity. I talked to her personally on xmas eve and she said to date they had not received any more since that 1st shipment. Hatchimals...they've...

Board & Chips Signed

Hi everyone. New to the group.

I came across a Jamma board that has the board and it's chips signed due to theft/thieves. Has anyone come across this? I'm not clear why; any insight? Does it change the board's value?
