Re: arcade 1up machines almost here... price drop now $399 CAD

Just out of curiosity; does anyone know where i could get a splitter for the ribbon cables that come with the Arcade 1up cabinets, i am looking to find a way to link up 2 Street Fighter 2 cabinets to run off 1 board so it's like the head-2-head style of cabinets as seen here: https://truth.bahamut.c...

Re: Wall-mounted Fold-up cabinet.

Ok, so here are my rough ideas on how to get this thing mounted, I have a feeling that the gap between the monitor and Controls may be MASSIVE, so i devised an alternate control deck plan at the bottom that *MAY* reduce the gap to about an inch. Ultimately i would like to make it look like the secon...

Re: Wall-mounted Fold-up cabinet.

Ok, so here is the mock-up: I figure i can use the existing holes in the monitor/bezel to affix the TV wall mount. Then bolt the folding brackets to the wall, and then mount the control deck to the folding bracket arms (i feel like i may need to drill new holes in to the arms to accomodate the exisi...

Re: arcade 1up machines almost here... price drop now $399 CAD

I preordered my 1up Cabs: TMNT and Marvel. I've always wanted to get a real deal Konami X-men cabinet (4 player would he keen) but the price tag is STEEP! I think these will fill that desire as its 2-3 games and the footprint is smaller for us who don't have 2,000 square feet to have a proper game ...

Re: Wall-mounted Fold-up cabinet.

I want it as streamlined as possible. I was thinking either using the 4 mounting holes with some home depot brackets and just have the monitor "floating" off the wall and somehow rig up the control panel to some sort of low profile folding mechanism. Basically like a picture frame with the...

Wall-mounted Fold-up cabinet.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has come across plans for a wall-mounted fold-up cabinet? I did a Google search and the best I get is a photo of someone that built one where the controls fold up when it's in use. Here's a photo of what I found: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b1/6c/21/b16c2135621a...

Right now EB Games has the lowest price in these new cabinets, Amazon and Walmart have listings too, but seem more expensive or not available for preorder yet.

Re: 1/3 Scale Arcade Cabinets at EB games!

I just thought of ANOTHER possibility for Arcade 1up cabinets for those of you who DON'T have space, BUT have a bit of room along a wall! I noticed that the Arcade1up site offers replacement parts for sale, and that you can get them for a (relative) fraction of the cost. So I got to thinking: "...

Re: 1/3 Scale Arcade Cabinets at EB games!

Jeeze now I'm tempted to go and pick up a Rampage can from this Auctionmaxx you mentioned. Also where might one acquire Sanwa joysticks? On a side note, I was curious what the U.S. was getting in terms of these bad-boys, and apparently they have the SUPER DELUXE 12-in-1: Street Fighter cocktail cabi...

3/4 Scale Arcade Cabinets at EB games!

I suppose this story started at Walmart, I was walking through the video game section about 6 months ago ,and saw they were selling these 1/3 scale Multi-Arcade Cabinets, they had the following: Street Fighter (Street Fighter ll Champion Edition, Street Fighter ll The New Challengers, Street Fighter...

Re: What is the best Sega Genesis/Master System?

I'm kind of wondering why you and so many people now want to play vintage games but only on non-original hardware. What's wrong with using an actual Sega Genesis to play Sega Genesis games? Do people just want a challenge now to get games to play right, using a real console is too easy? The reason ...
