GameStreet Mississauga Rockwood mall
Just saw another game store open up, called GameStreet located in Mississauga in Rockwood Mall. They sell all there retro games on the web, it's free pick-up and free shipping on all retro games so I am going to be checking this place out for sure.
I hunt down retro games in Ontario

We Got Games from Brampton (in Shopper World)
Just pass by and saw this game store. Didn't have that much time but did have a quick peep and yea.....a bit pricey. I wonder if anyone went there before and what experience you have from this store.
Been there before, the new/used stuff is decently priced. The collectables, like almost everywhere, anything under the age of the PS1 is pricey.

Flea market flamboro highway 5 near Hamilton
3 dollar NES
5 dollar boxed Genesis
5 dollar Gameboy carts
15 dollar boxed SNES
Right inside the front door, good guy
However he has noticed resellers scooping his booth from time to time he said to me today
Overall good place if your close to Hamilton/Niagara
Picked up ALOT of good stuff for under 70 bucks
Retro collection I think is the name of his place
There are few other vendors in the market and the prices flux all over the place
Hit and miss selection but seems worth a check out at the very least

Went to Phil & Bill's Video Emporium in Owen Sound today for a retro hunt
Found boxed SNES NHL Stanley Cup and Sim City for about 15 bucks
Loose NES but small selection
Terrible SNES selection alot of common fodder
Not a bad N64 selection but overpriced OoT for 50 bucks loose? WTF
Oddly enough a few Sega CD and 32X and GameGear games
Typicaly PS2/Xbox/GC selections (think lower end gamestop)
Your average new stuff at regular retail
Final rating-Might be worth checking now and again but the prices are what discourage me from making it a regular stop.

This week I am on holidays so I thought I'd check out a few retro stores here in Ontario. I went to Toyratt in Milton today. I have heard mixed messages on the store but thought it was worth a shot and see it for myself. The store is big and has a ton of games. I picked up 2 snes cart only games Demon's Crest $30 and Wing Commander Secret Missions for $5. He ended up giving me both games for $30. Demon's crest alone can go for over $40 so I was happy. We talked for a bit about the hobby and what not. When I mentioned I was on the CGCC forums he was able to successfully guess my handle of Bighab. He had a lot to say about a few members here who have bashed his store in the past...lol Talked about swap meets and other stores to check out for retro games. He asked me my opinions on prices for some rarer games. Some of the more popular titles are a bit on the high side but you have to expect that because he is a retail store and has overhead. All in all a decent store that I will check out again for sure. My only gripe would be that alot of the games don't have a price sticker on them so you end up having to ask "how much for this" all the time.(EDIT I was wrong in that most of the games have price stickers......I guess I was blind the first time I went:p) I recommend people check it out

Tonight I stopped in at 1UP games in Hamilton. http://1upgames.ca/ Its a small store packed with cabinets loaded with video games. Lots of selection. Saw some obscure stuff you usually don't see around much(Mega CD games) I was rhyming of titles I was looking for and I got all "no....sorry thats a popular title" I did find a Fire Emblem Sacred Stone strategy guide for $5. I was pretty happy with that find. Prices were reasonable for a retail store. Maybe a tad high for some of the poplar titles. I would definitely check them out again. Mark the owner is a nice guy to talk to about the hobby as well. Everyone should check it out

Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum and I've been collecting (in small batches) for a few years now.
I'm from Brampton, and I know that there is a booth at a flea market in Brampton on Queen St. called Vintage Play. They have a lot of games. Their prices are okay. Some are hit and miss.
I visit the Innisfil flea market on Highway 400 and there is a small booth with really good deals. The owner is a user here, and he's a nice guy who is a gamer. There's another booth which is a total reseller who jacks the price up a lot. $60 for Mega Man 1. Yeah, okay, slightly high.
Anyways that's what I have right now!
