Thanks!! You know, I've never been much of an RPG guy. I'm more into the mindless run 'n gun, space shooter, fighting game genres! With the odd puzzle game thrown in (Columns III is one of my favourite games ever)

If you are into shooters may I suggest Gaiares. It's quite hard, but beatable. Incredible graphics and music on Genesis. The weapon power-up system is quite cool too... And of course, who could forget the magazine ads for the game?
Sorry for all those. I just had to. It's too good.

Gain Ground is also a lot of fun. When you first see it you may think it's slow and too old-style, but it's an amazing mix between a run-and-gun, mixed with strategy and puzzle.
Wow, weird - no idea it was also a Renovation release (like Gaiares). This game is originally developed by SEGA for the System-24 arcade system. Arcade version is in TATE mode, but of course the genesis version has been altered to fit normal aspect-ratio. I have plans to beat this game one day.
