Bah, who cares.

I'll drop $120 on one of the multitude of retropie setups on kijiji that have ALL the nes/snes and who knows how many other systems all in one.

Folks here probably aren't the target audience for stuff like this, I'd guess most of us probably still have an SNES hooked up somewhere. Still, I might grab one just for the convenience factor, seems like the perfect thing to toss in my luggage for a business trip. Play Earthbound in my hotel room all night and keep myself out of trouble. :D

Curious to see if this is the same leaked Star Fox 2 ROM that's been floating around forever, or if it's something closer to a "gold master" version. It'd be funny (and not unprecedented) if Nintendo just grabbed a fan-patched ROM off the internet.

Super excited but now we have to hear the whole garbage raspberry pi talk again. Some people, like myself, prefer to buy actual Nintendo items. Most of us can and already do have a raspberry pi setup, get over it.

I'd be a bit more excited if it wasn't likely to be short shipped like the nes mini.

Ya, i would've bought an NES Classic if i could've found one in the store but I'm expecting the same artificial scarcity situation here so I'm disregarding it. Also, no Super Metroid? That's a crime.

Edit: Super Metroid will be on it. I stand corrected!

I want one! Though what I REALLY want is the Super Famicom version. That was my first experience with 16 bit Nintendo games (9 months before the US/Canada release). It's a way nicer looking console. (Purple buttons? PURPLE?! Who's dumb idea was that!)

I have 6 nes mini's still left.

One is VGA graded 95 the other 5 are not graded. I will probably open one and play it sooner or later, but I wanted a small stockpile for the future just in case these go Little Samson crazy

I honestly don't see them going any higher than they are right now and expect the bubble to burst once the SNES Mini comes out. I could be wrong of course, I just feel like they were mostly snatched up by collectors and stored away thinking they would go up in value. I think there are a lot less Little Samsons and other rare games out in the wild since when they were released they were probably played and went through the normal wear and tear as any other game would.

Maybe they go up, probably not.

Who knows, a small stash like this is worth the fun to see what happens. I could sell just one of the 6 right now and be almost completely squared up for the entire lot and just gamble. It won't be retirement money, but hey, half the fun is in the speculating.

Yeah, you're in the black either way. You get them all at one place, at one time?

Various places. The first few I just stumbled upon, not even looking for them. Just saw them, and found they were available and at retail so I snagged em. Then I started actively calling around for the last few and got those at retail too.
