LF: Clean non-working SNES console

Postby CanadianRyGuy » Tue May 09, 2017 10:02 am

Hey,

My fiance recently pulled out her old SNES from her parents basement, was excited to see it was still in it's immaculate box (only child so thing probably didn't get played much). However, when I actually pulled the system out of the box, I found it to be in much less desirable shape. I honestly have not seen a console as yellow as this one before and parts of the base were badly cracked, though the system seemed to work just fine.

So I was wondering if anyone possibly had a clean (hopefully non-yellow), non-working unit that I could swap out the internals for and have a nice looking/working unit. Can't imagine this would be too difficult?

As long as you have the special Nintendo screwdriver bit it's pretty easy.

They're really not very expensive and well worth a purchase.

Oh yeah, the swapping of the internals should be a piece of cake with the Nintendo security bit, just trying to find a clean non-working console to do the swapping with seems to be difficult lol
