Anyone own a 412 in 1 board? Review? Where to buy?

Would like to hear what the story is on these boards if any of you local bros have one. Seems like a decent buy at 140.00, though I didn't really look much harder for more local dealers. Anyone know the best place to buy?
Also, on the games list, I couldn't help but notice Karate Champ listed there, which is confusing given the 2 joystick pinout despite Karate Champ's 4 joystick requirement. Unless they've mapped the controls such that the buttons could work as joystick movements? Would love to hear from someone who has the board.
Also, if someone has the board, can you describe which version of Karate Champ they have? Is it the "player vs player" version, where every scene has a different landscape in the background? Or is it the "competition" version where the players fight in a stadium setting?
Would really love to know, thanks in advance

They are undeniably awesome boards.
Adam's site (
http://multicade.ca) is the best place to get them!

Okay, so it looks like they're in the stadium and since I only have one joystick hooked up, all I can do is jump up and get kicked in the balls.
Adam @ Multicade.ca sold me my 412. Great guy!

Jasonec: Awesome, good to hear some local feedback.
Terry: Awesome
Well that works out perfectly. I'll text you and send cash as soon as I get this project together.
Ottogd: Lmao at "all I can do is jump up and get kicked in the balls."
Ok, so it looks like Karate Champ is the "Tournament" version, and, by default, the game is treating your joystick as the "left" joystick on a real Karate Champ machine....now, assuming you have your joy wired up to the "Player 1" pinouts on the 412 in 1 board, I wonder if the manufacturers set it up so that the "Player 2" pinouts will control punches, kicks and the all important blocks to those kicks to the balls. I'm hoping this is the case.
Thanks so much for posting and trying it out, It was killing me to find out what the deal with Karate Champ was

Has anyone figured out how to out the 412 in attract mode? Vs. just sitting locked at the menu screen? If the timer stays on during free-play then it automatically fires up the game in the list that was last played.....
thoughts?

Its ok. Too bad the rotary games don't work right.
I bought one to put in my sinistar...that sucked because there are layers of sound missing like the SPEECH! which is the best part. Can't have that in my cab.
So...its ok for most games but i don't get why they put the ones i mentioned on if they cant be played properly.

For me, I have ordered a board with 2 SD cards:
412 in 1 for vertical games
619 in 1 for horizontal games
I have to switch card if I want to play horizontal or vertical.
I have asked several people and you could not resize the screen.
You have to physically turn the monitor on a horizontal or vertical position.
Me, I will do a bartop and I will try setup my monitor (19’’ scare monitor 4:3) to do a rotation (vertical or horizontal)
I will start my project in spring…can’t wait !!!

the 900 have most of the roms on one sd but you have to rotate the monitor. 1 button to go from hor to vert files.

Swede, I had some "screen locked in menu" issues too, make sure the -5V is disconnected in the cab. That was one issue. Also, I've found these boards to be way picky about the accuracy of the voltages they get, so a fresh computer power supply can work wonders over some of the sketchy old switchers that came in the cabs.
