Repair help on a Galaga CRT in cabinet

Postby millepedemahem » Sat Nov 04, 2017 8:26 am

Hi I have a Galaga Cabinet that has several games (about 30 or so). The CRT has shifted to the right (it still works) but it's unusable due to the shift. Does anyone have any repair contacts in the Kingston, On. area?

Thanks in adavance

Easy, there's a vertical and a horizontal height adjustment knob on the monitor that should reposition it properly on the screen. Usually on the bottom of the main PCB board for the monitor:

Thanks for the info. What I don't understand, is why would the monitor suddenly start doing that?

Also, dumb question, but how do I got about locating where that board is?

Sorry for all the questions, but I really appreciate the help.

The main board for the monitor (not the small PCB board at bottom of tube/screen), on the lower edge is where you'll probably want to try to adjust the vertical height.

Something could have gotten bumped/knocked, causing it to shift.
