Postby Rickn » Sat Dec 30, 2017 4:10 pm

Hi Guys, I am almost out of monitor board sets! They are out of production.
Here is what I have Standard res board sets, require isolation transformer in the cab. Great replacement for many such as G0&, Wells etc. only have 6 left. can maybe get more?? $150 each for pick-up.
Tri-res board, can customize for 25",27" and larger. Only have 4, cannot get more. $235 each.
Feel free to e-mail me if you are interested.

Rick installed one of these new chassis sets in my G07 and adjusted the yoke to match. It looks great - thanks again Rick!

Hey Jason, glad you are happy!

Normal board swaps only take me less than 30 minutes. The G07 can be a challenge, but you were the guinea pig on this one.
- Yes changed the copper windings on the yoke to make the two vertical windings connected in Parallel, not series. This was to drop the inductance to 25mh. Not something I would suggest for a novice to try
- Changed the yoke connector
- Re-adjusted the purity and convergence on the tube.
- while I was at it, tested and Re-juved the tube to increase the brightness and improve the focus.
- Changed the picture tube ground wire.
- mounted the board

Definitely not much money made on this one. Having said that, more than happy to have done it...
You have always been helpful to a lot of the forum members and what goes around should come around!

In a nutshell... "Thanks"
