Possible Candy Cabs Buy (No longer happening)

I have a source that has a handful of Candies, I don't have all the details or the condition of the units other than good working condition. They have Sega Blast City's and New Net City's (short ones) and a couple Egret 3 (far too much price for those $250 more over the other ones)

So the catch is the minimum order, 18 of them. So here is the question, who want's one?
This will be in South Western Ontario, and I don't think I'll be able to ship any from here, only pickup. And I don't have any experience with this sort of thing, but if I decide to go ahead with this, I only need your word that you will follow though. I'll only ask for the cost, for any members here and only when you pickup, no deposits needed. At this time, based on the research that I've done, around $950 each ($1000 less than what these things are going for right now). Just if your interested for now.

I'm still working on pictures of a samples, and it may not happen if it ends up being junk. And let me know of anything that I may have missed.

UPDATE:

There was trouble with the funds making its way to the seller, leaving the seller, selling to a different buyer. After a trip to Japan and HK found that there is currently no other seller with decent units available at this time. It did take just over a month for me to recover the funds, where I did lose about $150 from the exchange rate changing.

A group buy organized by me will not happen for now as a found a seller selling individual machines through eBay, where I purchased a New Net City and a Astro City, for a little more than what would have been paid through a group buy.

18 units is essentially a full container.
Have you imported before? If you get an inspection on a full container it's probably close to 2.5-3k in additional fees.

Indeed. From what I've read, importing can be difficult and there can be some unexpected additional costs.

As a buyer, confidence that the transaction will go smoothly goes a long way towards getting wallets out. At the very least I would want to know if the group-buy organizer had some experience with this, or at the very least if they had done some serious research into the logistics of importing a container from Asia.
