CPS2 sets pricing help please

Postby jcalder8 » Mon May 25, 2020 10:08 am

A friend pasted away last year and his family gave me his Candy Cab and 5 CPS2 setups. He was converting the Cab into a MAME machine so I completed that to how he had envisioned but now I have these 5 A and B board sets. I'm not sure how much to list them for so I am hoping that some wonderful people here could help. They are all NA releases.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
Street Fighter Alpha
X-Men VS Street Fighter
Marvel VS Capcom
Dungeons & Dragons Shadow Over Mystaria

Also if anyone has any suggestions on where I could list them that would be great too.
Thanks so much!

Just curious but does every game board (B) have a system board (A) attached to it?

Oh wow, that's amazing.

Assuming they all still work and haven't suicided, I've heard they can be worth quiet a bit.

edit: So i've spent some time on ebay today, system boards seem to go for between 150 - 250
Super Puzzle Fighter and Street Fighter Alpha about 350 - 450
X-men vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 200 - 300
Dungeons & Dragons Shadow Over Mystaria 500 - 600

Selling options would be ebay, facebook market place, Kijiji and here

I mean I'd happily give you $500 for the Dungeons & Dragons Shadow Over Mystaria.

Actually even if they've suicided. It doesn't matter anymore since CPS2 encryption has been broken now and the keys can be restored. The hit on value won't be big. or just restore them yourself with some online tutorials then sell.
