BAH! Curse you all for bringing up the tale of the White Game Gear... _________________ “Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth you'd probably be able to get a lot of free games.” - Jack Handy |

You caught Moby Dick but you let him slip through your fingers, I hope you learned from this.
I actually saw that Game Gear for sale on craigslist, but I didn't reply because I didn't think it was worth that much. I learned from that too. _________________ Check out my stuff for sale!!!(click below)

that's awesome....now I have to build another iCast....
@Sparky
I took out the CRT because it is forking heavy.
actually, the space might have been an issue, I had the iMac apart for a while now, the idea was to put the DC in with the original CRT, although the monitor did not have a VGA port, I think it was a pre-DVI port (not sure, was not a 'Mac' fanboy when these first came out), any-way, I was just going to make an adapter.
but, I found the 15" monitor in my workshop, I thought it would be a better option. _________________

WTF, this mod was not about what is the greatest system of all time
-----
here is a video of loading a game again, not perfect, but it works.
although, now that the CRT monitor has been removed, it about 200 pounds lighter; the bottom panel could easily be removed during game play picture, so tipping the unit to load a game would not be all that bad. _________________

nice, and this has to be my favorite quote:
"Someone should shot the on that did this! This makes me so MAD!"
and does anyone really think the mod would have been better with the original screen? Really, because this would have been too easy... _________________
